Espaço Rural is a selection of blocks that we believe express more the terroir of Vidigueira in Portugal’s famous Alentejo wine region. The idea is to have grapes that show the minerality and freshness of our soils. For that we have totally organic procedures and the vinification is done with minimal intervention. It’s always field blends, co-ferment and wild fermentation wines. We don’t use new oak barrels and we also use big oak vats in order to keep the freshness and authenticity of our fruit.
Bojador wines are fresh and vibrant with distinctive taste for the amphorae (called “Talha” in Portuguese) in relation to wines vinified in stainless steel. Our very small production of amphora wines is our very own tribute to this ancient vinification method so traditional on this wine region celebrated until this day every year in November, also known as Dia de São Martinho (Saint Martin’s Day).
