Courelas da Torre is a family-owned property with a total of 42 acres (6 currently producing) set in sand and clay soil. The region of Redondo in Alentejo is mainly dry highly influenced by the Serra D' Ossa natural park , protecting the sandy fields from heavy rain in the harvest season.
The Falé family has produced organically since 2008 and became fully certified in 2013. Besides producing high quality organic wines the property is also known to produce namely olives, fruit trees, herbs and vegetables. The grapes are handpicked, destemmed and treated with the greatest care in order to obtain a high-quality wine. Main producing varieties are Trincadeira, Castelão, Alicante and Aragonez with vines ageing an average of 15-20 years.
